Paper lanterns which I love, are very common in Asian countries such as China, Japan, Korea, Sri Lanka. You can see them in light festivals which has been a tradition in China for 2000 years. I understand not everyone is planning a trip to China. So luckily a little bit of China is brought to lovely Antwerp. Chinese artisans installed illuminated lanterns in the Zoo of Antwerp. Lotus flowers, dragons, lucky animals and even the terracotta army was present.
